Following the overwhelming response to its inaugural season held earlier this year, the cultural space of Hyderabad is set to be enriched once again with the second edition of Bhava Rasa Natyotsavam. Organized under the esteemed aegis of Madalsa – Space for Divine Art, the event will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Ravindra Bharathi auditorium. The program is scheduled to commence at 6:30 PM. "It will be an evening of spiritual and aesthetic brilliance through the timeless traditions of Indian classical dance," the organizers said.
The festival’s first season, which took place in January at the Phoenix Arena, was hailed as a spectacular visual treat. It featured mesmerizing performances by renowned dancers Soujanya Srinivas, Manju V. Nair, and Swapna Rajendrakumar.
Building on that success, Season 2 will showcase a prestigious lineup of artists. Highlights include a dual-genre performance of Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi by Kalaratna Soujanya Srinivas, a choreographed Bharatanatyam presentation by Pramod Reddy and the Abhinetri Ensemble, and a Kuchipudi recital by SNA Yuva Puraskar awardee M. Surendra Nath alongside Dr. Bijina Surendra Nath.
The evening will be graced by several distinguished guests, including Ravi Padi (IRTS, Chief Commercial Manager, South Central Railway), Anugu Narasimha Reddy (Director, Department of Language and Culture), and Veernala Balaji (Chairman, Veernala Foundation). To guide the audience through the nuances of the performances, the event will be compered by the prominent Telugu anchor and cultural commentator, Vachaspathi Sri Ambadipudi Muralikrishna.
