The trailer of Mrithyunjay was released today ahead of the movie's theatrical release on March 6. Sharing it on social media, Jr NTR opined that it "carries gripping intensity and leaves you curious for more".
He is proud of producer Sandeep Gunnam, whom he has known for 18 years. "I couldn’t be prouder of him as he steps into his maiden venture Mrithyunjay as a producer with one such unique script. He has been an integral part of my life for many years now. Over 18 years of our friendship, I have observed that Sunny has an instinct for identifying unique stories, just like his father Gunnam Gangaraju garu," the Devara actor wrote, wishing director Hussain Sha Kiran, actor Sree Vishnu and everyone associated with the project great success.
On his part, Sandeep described Tarak as a "friend, boss, mentor, inspiration, and a pillar of strength".
The thriller, involving a numb-to-agony girl child at the centre of the emotional arc and an inquisitive male lead at the centre of the plot, is about solving "haunting questions and a relentless chase for what's buried".
Mrithyunjay, also starring Rebba John, Sudharshan, Raccha Ravi, Ayyappa, Sijju, Aishwarya, Balaaditya, Krishna Koushik, Nandha Gopal, and Mrinchi Madhavi, has music done by Kaala Bhairava. The film is heading to theatres on March 6.
