Vishnu Vinyasam's production timeline was shortened after a substantial portion of the movie reached pirates based within the country. On Saturday, a day after the movie's release, actor Sree Vishnu revealed about the "leak" for the first time.
"In December 2025, my producer called me to inform me about the leak. I couldn't comprehend it at first. Pirates got hold of footage somehow. They started blackmailing us. We had no option but to rush the shoot. We did complain to concerned authorities. At that time, the product was only half-done. We couldn't have spoken about the issue in public. We had only one week to carry out promotions. Six months back, a big movie faced a similar situation," Sree Vishnu said, appreciating producer Subrahmanyam Naidu for staying strong.
Based on what the actor said, the shoot was rushed to ensure the film was released before pirates could leak the content online.
Vishnu Vinyasam, co-starring Nayana Sarika, Satya and others, is currently showing in theatres.
