Based on the official announcement made today, Tamil actor Pradeep Ranganathan's first production under his newly launched banner PR Show is being directed by a team of six technicians/directors. Yes, six!
The project, which is led by Premalu fame Mamitha Baiju and a few others, is being helmed collaboratively by the six directors, who are collectively referred to as the Alpha Team. This unconventional approach is billed as a unique filmmaking experiment.
Traditionally, even two directors joining forces is extremely rare. Anthology films across the world have been directed by multiple filmmakers, though. If Pradeep Ranganathan's PRS01 is one feature-length story, rather than an anthology with six separate segments, it would be extraordinarily rare.
The buzz in Kollywood circles is that the Love Today, Dude and Dragon actor is particular about pushing the envelope in every way possible. He has roped in AA23 and Karuppu composer Sai Abhyankkar to compose the music. He looks all sorted for now.
