Lenin and Sambarala Yeti Gattu could have been done by Kiran Abbavaram. Destiny had other plans, though.
After Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha, writer Nandu Savigama discussed the storyline of Lenin with the KA actor. "That was a casual one, though. It was, strictly speaking, not intended for me," the K-Ramp actor told a YouTuber.
As for Sambarala Yeti Gattu, it was seriously intended for Kiran, whose chose to let it go. "When the story was pitched to me, I knew it had a vast span. The budget was shooting up as the idea evolved. By the time it hit the Rs 70-Cr mark, I didn't want to headline the project. I asked the producer (Niranjan Reddy of HanuMan fame) to move on with some other actor, as that budget was too high for my range. I am happy that Sai Dharam Tej is doing that film now," Kiran added.
