Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is officially back. The recent non-cooperation directive by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees against the actor has been lifted. "This decision comes after intense discussions behind closed doors," a report says. "The decision was taken after an intervention by the Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association (IMPPA), the Producers Guild of India (PGI) and Cine & TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA)," the Hindu reported.
So, filmmakers can now resume projects that were put on hold. Besides movie assignments, Ranveer's major brand endorsements were also in limbo following the ban. The lift of the ban brings relief to Bollywood producers. Distributors are already reshuffling their release calendars.
