Pawan Kalyan is not going the Vijay way. His Kollywood counterpart decidedly stopped doing movies after declaring that Jana Nayagan would be his last. For reasons best known to him, Power Star is not on that course.
Many years ago, PK started claiming that he was, is and will always be a reluctant actor. He continued to do movies even after forming Jana Sena Party because his infant organization needed self-financing.
It has been two years since he became a Deputy CM, no less. Yet, Ustaad Bhagat Singh is not his last movie. He is on his way to forging a fresh alliance with Sujeeth Sign, his OG director. OG 2 will either be a sequel or a prequel to his 2025 gangster drama.
Pawan loves his style, swag and the immense adulation his onscreen avatars reap. It's now impossible for him to look away from cinema altogether. Next time, nobody is going to expect him to announce his final movie. If OG 2 becomes a stupendous hit (controlled budgeting can make it happen), we should brace up for OG 3. Around the time of next Assembly elections, Pawan might get busy planning the release of a political film. OG 2 could be a rehearsal for that big game.
