A movie titled R was launched today with a traditional pooja ceremony at a temple. It was attended by the film's cast and crew, and their well-wishers.
The film features a diverse cast led by Santosh Krishnan and Bhagya Reddy. Other prominent actors including Brahmanandam Reddy, Durgam Naidu, Pawan, Siri, Sandhya, Bhanu Chander, and Swathi will appear in pivotal roles.
On the technical side, Ashok Reddy Kankalla is handling the cinematography, while Munish serves as the editor and Shivaji takes charge of choreography. The direction team is supported by Chief Associate Director Kadavakallu Ganesh and Assistant Director Vedanth Raj Ande.
Set against a rustic village backdrop, the makers have planned an efficient production timeline. Shooting is scheduled to commence on March 20 and will be completed across two distinct schedules. Most of the filming will take place in and around Hyderabad. Director-producer Goli Ramakrishna shared that the story aims to deliver a meaningful message to the audience. The screenplay is expected to be realistic.
Produced and directed by Goli Ramakrishna under the GMAA Entertainments banner, the project is presented by Sireesha with Gali Bala Kiran Reddy serving as co-producer.
The team is aiming for a grand theatrical release on October 17 later this year. While the core plot remains under wraps, the director mentioned that further details about the project will be revealed soon through a unique promotional campaign.
