Mythri Movie Makers and Hombale Films have gone aggressive in recent years. The former has been unstoppable ever since Pushpa: The Rise became a blockbuster in 2021. The even more spectacular success of Pushpa 2 in 2024 has made it an even bigger production house. Hombale Films has been on the ascendance after KGF 2 and Kantara became sensational hits. Salaar and Kantara 2 are among its other hits.
A new pan-India production house is now emerging on the sidelines. As per the buzz in the industry, KVN Productions is the one. Vijay's Jana Nayagan and Yash's Toxic are its prominent releases of 2026. Vijay's film is expected to leave it with a breakeven in the worst case scenario.
KVN Productions is currently also bankrolling the Megastar Chiranjeevi-Bobby Kolli movie, which is yet to go on the floors. While Chiranjeevi is the young banner's first Telugu superstar, producer Venkat has reportedly also paid advances to two other Telugu superstars: Prabhas and Pawan Kalyan. As per a report, the cash-rich banner has paid advances to many other Telugu heroes too.
KVN Productions was founded by Venkat K. Narayana and Nisha Venkat Konanki in 2020. It has distributed big-ticket projects like RRR, Animal, Kalki 2898 AD, Kanguva, Devara and Good Bad Ugly in Karnataka.
