Macho mode: Manchu Manoj is back to 'real stunts mode'

Manchu Manoj is bulking up and getting fitter for his outrageously challenging role in David Reddy. He has undergone physical transformation with the focus of a fighter. In the last three weeks, he has constantly put in undying effort in the gym.

Here is what the Mirai actor wrote about his experience: "Three weeks ago, I made a decision. No more negotiating with comfort. No more excuses. Just the work. In action cinema, nobody can fake it for you. Every punch, every fall, every hit. Your body either shows up or it doesn’t. The camera doesn’t lie. So I stopped training to look a certain way. I started training to become unbreakable. Week 3. Long way to go. But I’m not the same man I was 21 days ago. Back to real stunts mode."

Manoj is known for his commitment to performing his own action sequences. He has frequently made headlines for choosing to execute high-risk stunts without using body doubles. Bindaas, Vedam, and Mr. Nookayya featured his real stunts. David Reddy is next.

David Reddy is directed by Hanuma Reddy Yakkanti. The pan-India project is produced by Bharat Motukuri and Nallagangula Venkat Reddy. Supreme Sundar's action choreography is central to the director's vision and Manoj's energy. Co-starring R. Parthiban and Kanchana, the film's music is by Ravi Basrur. Recently, the first look of Maria Riaboshapka was released.
