"Madness of Pyaar on a whole new level. The soulful wave of love hits hard," wrote the makers of Deewana, unveiling their film's intense Teaser wherein the distraught male lead (Harshith Reddy) has almost accepted the depressing thought of destroying himself in love. As the makers stated, "Deewana…How far can a heart travel, just to make her his forever?" The brand of love the film is going to promote is clear.
Smeha Manimegalai, who achieved recognition for her role as Indu in the popular web series Office (Jio Hotstar), is the female lead. She has previously also appeared in the long-running school-drama series Kana Kaanum Kaalangal.
Distributed by Geetha Arts, the Summer release is written and directed by Sreekanth Sangishetty. Produced by Arha Media, Vasudev Koppineni, and Sridevi Karyampudi, Deewana has music by Eswar Chand. Vamsi Patchipulusu (cinematography), Hrishikesh Pasapal (editing), Jhansi Gola (production design), and Manasa (costumes) have worked on the movie.
Deewana has been described as a "magical journey of love and emotions you don’t want to miss".
