As expected, Couple Friendly is a hit on OTT after its successful run in theatres. The romantic drama film, set in Chennai, started streaming on Amazon Prime Video last week.
Ever since it made its OTT debut, the movie has been impressing the family audience. Its lead performances (by the Santosh Sobhan-Manasa Varanasi duo), its storyline, its moving sensibilities, and its music have been praised. On social media, Netizens have praised how one of the early scenes foreshadows the heroine's condition, something that gets revealed only in the second half.
When it was released in theatres, the movie received praises from the likes of Rebel Star Prabhas, who even had a chit-chat with the lead pair, director Ashwin Chandrasekhar and co-producer Ajay Kumar Raju P of UV Concepts.
Co-starring Rajeev Kanakala, Yogi Babu and others, the film was distributed in the Telugu States by Dheeraj Mogilineni. He is producing a movie with the Couple Friendly duo and it will head to theatres on Valentine's Day next year.
Meanwhile, UV Creations is gearing up for the release of Sharwanand's Biker on April 3. As for Santosh and Manasa, they are receiving offers and listening to scripts from different filmmakers.
