ThimmarajuPalli TV is slated to be released in theatres on April 17. Its title announcement event was held today in Hyderabad.
Film producer and actor Kiran Abbavaram said that director Muniraju, once an online editor for his films, aspired to direct. Despite limited means then, Kiran promised to support newcomers once established. Muniraju later shared a 1995 village story about the joy and importance of television, inspired by real experiences during Maha Shivaratri. He aimed to portray village innocence and human drama, not a commercial film. Made on a small budget, ThimmarajuPalli TV offers nostalgia for 90s audiences, blending innocence with suspense. Kiran, seen last year in K-Ramp, praised the cast and crew’s dedication. He also underlined strong performances and technical quality. He backed fresh talent like Sai Tej and others despite suggestions for bigger stars. Encouraging persistence without fear, Kiran reaffirmed his commitment to supporting new artists through future projects.
Executive Producer KL Madan, who has previously worked on SR Kalyanamandapam, Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha, and KA, said that he is very happy to be working with Kiran once again. "The entire team of this movie was incredibly supportive during the shoot. Every time I returned from the set, it felt like coming home after a day at college," he added.
Creative Producer Ritikesh Gorak said that everyone who worked on the movie is exceptionally talented. "I felt that they simply hadn't found the right film until now. After seeing the quality and the final output of this cinema, I feel immensely proud," he added.
Music director Vamsi Kanth Rekhana credited director Muniraju for giving creative freedom and praised Sanare’s lyrics. He expressed deep gratitude to Kiran Abbavaram for supporting many struggling artists despite his own rise. Having watched the film 150 times while composing, he said it remained consistently entertaining and promised audiences the same experience in theaters.
Actor Pradeep Kotte shared his journey as a theatre artist attending auditions, noting how Muniraju guided him clearly even during the audition process. Calling the opportunity surreal, he appreciated Kiran Abbavaram’s support for newcomers and described the film Thimmarajupalli TV as offering a warm, home-like viewing experience.
Actress Veda Jalandhar described the project as something that fulfilled their collective dream of appearing on the big screen. "I am a theatre artist. Director Muniraju selected me for this film after watching a play we performed. I am so happy that Kiran garu provided this opportunity to all of us young talents. If he prospers, people like us will also thrive," she added.
Director V. Muniraju described Kiran Abbavaram as a brotherly and fatherly figure. "This project came to life because of three people: Ritikesh Gorak anna, Rahasya garu, and Kiran anna. No matter how good a story one writes, you need artists who can perform it. I selected this entire cast after watching a play, and they have all performed phenomenally. Every single person provided incredible technical support. While watching this movie, you will be transported into that world. Along with entertainment and suspense, you will be moved by the emotions," he added.
Actor Sai Tej said, "While watching this film, you will feel as if you are living right there in Thimmarajupalli. You will be thoroughly entertained. Satish is my name in the film. Previously, I worked as an assistant cameraman for the films Kiran anna worked on. I am an actor today because of a promise he made me years ago. Once the production started, he asked me to give an audition. I went and auditioned, and the director selected me for the lead role. I will celebrate this moment for the rest of my life."
