Peddi will be released in theatres on June 4. It will make its theatrical debut with 9 pm premieres on June 3 in the domestic market. To be released in five languages, the pan-Indian outing will be presented in Hindi by Jio Studios. After the Telugu version, the biggest release will be in Hindi.
Director Sukumar today described Peddi as a big-ticket, emotional commercial movie. "When I watched Uppena, I knew (writer-director) Buchi Babu Sana would be able to handle any subject. Peddi is superb, it's very, very good. It's the most emotional movie in years," the maker of the Pushpa duology said with confidence. "The visuals (by cinematographer Rathnavelu) are going to be extraordinary. As for producer Venkat Satish Kilaru, he is fortunate to have found a blockbuster script for his very debut. Ram Charan's energy is too high in many portions. He has delivered a greater performance than in Rangasthalam. It's the epitome of his acting talent," Sukumar, who is presenting Peddi on Sukumar Writings, shared.
Director Buchi Babu sought the audience's blessings. "Peddi is an emotional ride. Peddi, the protagonist, will be close to your hearts. He will never leave your mind space," the second-time filmmaker added.
Producer Venkat of Vriddhi Cinemas said that he will always be indebted to Ram Charan. "It's extraordinary that he gave me, a first-time producer, the opportunity to bankroll his movie. All artists and technicians have dished out a great output. Peddi will be remembered for a long time to come. From kids to elders, everyone is going to thoroughly enjoy Peddi. Mark the date: June 4. On the previous day, premieres will be held at night all over," he added.
