Dhurandhar: The Revenge netted Rs. 977 crore in Hindi and Rs. 60 crore in South-dubbed versions for Rs. 1037 crore in India. Overseas gross was Rs. 412 crore. Worldwide gross reached Rs. 1656 crore.
A trade report by Pinkvilla has analyzed the sequel's profitability based on known BO figures and estimated budgets. The theatrical share of Dhurandhar 2 totaled Rs. 665 crore. Non-theatrical recoveries exceeded Rs. 300 crore. Production and release cost was around Rs. 250 crore. Net profit stands at over Rs. 650 crore.
Combined two films (Dhurandhar 1 and 2). Recoveries are over Rs. 1500 crore against Rs. 500 crore cost. So, producers Aditya Dhar, Lokesh Dhar, and Jio Studios have made profits of over Rs. 1000 crore.
The Rs. 1500 crore figure for the two Dhurandhar films combined refers to total recoveries (theatrical share + non-theatrical revenues), NOT pure gross. The sequel has nearly Rs. 1000 crore total recovery. The two films together crossed Rs. 1500 crore in such recoveries against Rs. 500 crore combined cost.
