Suriya will be in God mode in Veera Bhadrudu, actor Karthi said at the movie's pre-release event on Monday. "Only annayya can do such a massy role. He is absolute mass. Just as Prabhas lifted the Shiva Lingam in Baahubali, he can carry any weight (metaphorically). I am so so thrilled to watch him on the big screen," Karthi further added.
The film is written and directed by RJ Balaji, who also plays the chief antagonist. "We have shared a great friendship with Supriya Yarlagadda garu for a long time. It is an honor that Annapurna Studios is releasing this film. My heartfelt thanks to Annapurna Studios for such wonderful promotions and release planning. I am certain that the audience will be fully satisfied with this movie," Suriya said in his speech.
As per the hero, the first half is going to be "very gripping" with its emotional courtroom drama. On the other hand, the second half is packed with full-scale 'mass masala' theatrical moments.
This film marks Suriya's collaboration with Trisha after 23 years. "Vikram designed some amazing action sequences. Everyone who worked on this film treated it as something special. That sincere effort will be visible to all of you on screen," Suriya added.
"We have showcased Suriya sir exactly how his fans want to see him. We created this film specifically for the audience who loves to celebrate cinema in theaters," RJ Balaji shared. Veera Bhadrudu, he added, is an intelligent commercial film with excellent music by Sai Abhyankar.
Veera Bhadrudu will be released in theatres on May 14.
