“The No. 1 problem in Hollywood was and is and always will be pedophilia," said actor Corey Feldman in the year 2011. Feldman is the most prominent mainstream actor to repeatedly speak about child sexual abuse in Hollywood.

Mel Gibson has occasionally alluded in interviews to “darkness” and abuse in Hollywood. His remarks are generally indirect in nature. His anti-Hollywood whistleblowing has been received in different ways.

In 2024, actor Kevin Sorbo wrote on X that he didn't leave Hollywood because he was blacklisted. Rather, he exited it because the industry harbours many pedos.

Elijah Wood caused headlines in 2016 when he suggested that abuse networks existed in Hollywood, comparing them to the UK’s Jimmy Savile scandal.

Over the years, a number of actors, former child stars, commentators, and outsiders have made sweeping or sensational claims that Hollywood harbors widespread sexual abuse, predatory behavior, or even organized pedophilia. The Harvey Weinstein saga, Bryan Singer allegations, Kevin Spacey accusations, among others, were widely reported.
