In a recent interaction with spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravishankar, Superstar Rajinikanth shared an experience at Bengaluru's Art of Living centre many years ago. When he went there to participate in a 'satsang', he was surprised that nobody bothered to mob him or seek his autograph.
"Forget about photos and autographs, not even a single person looked at or spoke to me. I was waving but no one saw. I have met many politicians and industrialists, but this experience crushed my ego actually," Rajinikanth shared.
Nara Lokesh, Minister, Andhra Pradesh, reacted to the video clip of the Jailer star, saying his "simple, funny and deeply grounded speech" was every bit lovely. "What amazes me most is how someone of your stature wears superstardom so lightly, with such humility and grace. There is so much for the younger generation to learn from you - not just about success, but about staying grounded through it all," Lokesh added.
Rajinikanth awaits the theatrical release of Jailer 2 later this year. He will also be teaming up with a film co-starring Kamal Haasan.
