Thimmarajupalli TV, produced jointly by Kiran Abbavaram and Sumaira Studios, is all set to debut on Aha OTT on May 15. Ahead of its promising digital start, the core team behind the period rural drama hosted an event in Hyderabad.
Kiran's speech was laced with his personal affection towards the Aha team. He thanked the creative team at the OTT platform for always standing by him regardless of his form. The K-Ramp actor described Aha's Acquisitions Head Srinivas Balabommala as a "brother". Saying that films are what they like to talk about in private, he suggested that Aha serves as the yardstick by which he assesses how his films are embraced by the audience.
Thimmarajupalli TV, said Kiran, was made on a "compact budget" and yet it rose above all limitations. "The film has created a strong impression among family audiences as a good film. I hope all of them watch it on Aha. It is a movie that gives a beautiful nostalgic feeling," Kiran shared.
"Films like Sammathame, Rules Ranjann, KA Ramp and many others are streaming on Aha. We are expecting a similar range for Thimmarajupalli TV," Srinivas of Aha shared.
Expressing his gratitude for the film's success, hero Sai Tej thanked Sumaira Studios and KA Productions for supporting fresh talent and noted that while the audience had already embraced the movie in theaters, its premiere on Aha would now allow Thimmarajupalli TV to reach an even wider audience by entering their home televisions. Heroine Veda Jalandharr added that they received an entirely positive response with no negative feedback following the theatrical release, urging those who missed it to watch it on the streaming platform. She remarked, “You will surely enjoy the film completely,” while expressing her hope that Kiran would continue to encourage new artists. Actor Pradeep Kotte shared the team’s collective joy regarding the audience feedback they received in theaters. Actress Swathi Karimireddy commented that whoever watched the movie had a personal connect with its elements.
Director V. Muniraju cited his meeting with AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu after the release of the movie. "The actors and technicians who worked on this film have all earned a good name," he added.
Music Director Vamsikanth Rekhana thanked the Kiran-Muniraju duo for their extraordinary support. He is proud to have set tunes for the movie.
Kiran awaits the theatrical release of Chennai Love Story, co-starring Sri Gouri Priya. Guvvalacheruvu Ghat has entered the final leg. He will also be wielding the megaphone for a movie soon.
