Producer Venkata Satish Kilaru of Vriddhi Cinemas has told exhibitors that the budget of Peddi is Rs 350 Cr. He made the submission in view of the incessant demands by the Telangana Exhibitors Association for the introduction of a percentage-based system. He expects the movie to be exempted from the system.
Peddi is slated to be released in theatres on June 4. A trailer will land on May 18.
Director Buchi Babu Sana finished the movie in 180 working days. The world of the period sports-based action narrative is large, as per him.
Since the budget is Rs 350 Cr, Peddi is almost as expensive as Game Changer. Its music is composed by AR Rahman.
