Suriya's 46th movie is titled Vishwanath & Sons. The news is that the movie is heading to theatres on August 14 to reap gains from the I-Day week crowds. "Dear Anbaana Fans, here’s our little note to keep the celebrations going," the makers wrote, announcing the date.
The movie is coming out at a time when Suriya's career is back in shape with the recent blockbuster success of Karuppu. Venky Atluri has readied a story-based narrative in which Premam fame Mamitha Baiju is playing a crucial role. Radhika Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon have important roles in this Monsoon release.
The age-gap romance is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya. "We have made this as a wholesome entertainer packed with emotions, humour and heartwarming family moments," the makers said.
Vishwanath & Sons will get a major release in both Telugu and Tamil. The Tamil Nadu theatrical distribution rights are held by Think Studios.
GV Prakash Kumar, Nimish Ravi, Navin Nooli and Banglan are handling music, cinematography, editing, and production design departments, respectively. Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas are jointly producing Vishwanath & Sons.
