Actress and model Yukti Thareja of Naga Shaurya's Rangabali fame has been cast opposite Shahid Kapoor as the new female lead in the upcoming second season of Prime Video's hit crime-thriller series Farzi. The show is directed by Raj & DK of The Family Man fame. Raj Nidimoru has been married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Yukti, while starting out with a flop in Telugu, went on to act opposite Kiran Abbavaram in K-Ramp, which was a Diwali 2025 hit. KJQ: King Jackie Queen and the Malayalam movie Marco are among her other releases.
In Hindi, Yukti shot to fame with a song titled Lut Gaye. "After that number and before Rangabali, I did land a lot of offers from both Telugu and Hindi cinema. I declined those offers because they were not convincing. Around that time, the covid-induced lockdown happened. I had to relocate to my hometown in Haryana for the time being. When I came back, too, nothing promising came my way," she shared in an interview in 2023.
