Gautam Ghattamaneni turned a year older yesterday. The aspiring actor seems to be a highly opinionated movie buff. His Letterboxd account is making news.
He awarded five stars to his father’s hits Pokiri (known for the Pokiri-level twist) and 1: Nenokkadine (the Sukumar directorial in which he himself acted). Athadu, Okkadu, and Murari, all of which are considered better than most of the movies done by Mahesh's rivals in the last two decades, received 4 to 4.5 stars. Yet he gave just one star to Brahmotsavam. Nijam and Vamsi earned only 2 stars each. Yash's Toxic, the non-flavour of the season, was panned with 0.5 stars. To be frank, Gautam looks biased in favour of Nijam and Brahmotsavam after you know of his Toxic rating.
Gautam has gone to the NYU Tisch School of the Arts to pursue a course in Drama. A video clip of the youngster talking about creative freedom at the institution surfaced online. Like other star kids such as Ram Charan and Junaid Khan (Aamir Khan's son), Gautam, too, is learning the basics in a professional and academic setting away from the trappings of the spotlight.
