Producers Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni entered the Tamil market with high-profile projects like Ajith Kumar's Good Bad Ugly and Pradeep Ranganathan's Dude. It's said that the Telugu producers are paying huge remunerations to Tamil heroes to get their dates. After they leave the scene, Tamil producers will have to pay matching amounts.
