'Atithi Devobhava', starring Aadi Sai Kumar in the lead, will be released in theatres on January 7. Rajababu Miryala and Ashok Reddy Miryala have produced it on Srinivasa Cine Creations. In this interview, director Polimera Nageshwar talks about the film, title justification, his struggles and more. Actress Nuveksha has played the heroine. The film features Rohini, comedians Saptagiri, Gundu Sudarshan and Raghu Karamanchi, among others.

I have always been passionate about movies. I used to do skits on the stage. When I was in college, my interest only increased. I discontinued my education later. I come from a remote village. I am proud to have made it to the industry despite my humble backdrop. I have worked under the likes of SS Rajamouli garu, Vinayak garu, K Viswanath garu, among others. It was in 2003 that I entered the field.

'Atithi Devobhava' has come out really well. Producer Rajababu Miryala garu came into my life like a god at a time when was going through a lot of struggles. I am forever indebted to him. We are sure that the film will click with the audience.

The producers gave me full freedom. That's why I could implement my vision without fail. 'Atithi Devobhava' is a romantic action-thriller. It's a commercial film that is high on love and thrills. It's a different film for Aadi Saikumar.

Aspiring directors face numerous trials and tribulations in the industry. I too had to undergo them. I am happy that my debut movie is finally releasing in theatres this Friday.

The songs have already clicked with the audience. I am waiting for the audience's response to the content. A song was shot in Darjeeling. The visuals are superb.

The title is classy but it will reach the audience nevertheless. The title is apt and it's the only title that suits the story. Every major character is a guest for the hero's character in the movie.

I have penned several stories and will line up projects in the coming times.
