Mr Homanand - Fight between Homanad and Ghost

Mr Homanand starring Homanand and Pavani as the lead cast has completed all formalities and is all set to hit screens on June 29. On this occasion hero Homanand interacted with media in a press meet held on Monday i.e. on June 25.

Homanand said, “My father, Keshava Theertha, is a film producer. He did films like ‘Bejawada Police Station’. I entered the film industry with his inspiration. Initially, I thought of acting in short films. But, luckily I got the opportunity in feature film. I took my acting training at Satyam garu. The techniques I learned from him helped me in the sets.”

About his co-star, Homanad said, “My co-star Pavani is senior to me asan actress. I have given strong competition to her. She is a nice co-star.”

Delineating his characterisation in Mr Homanand, he said, “My character in the film is a miser. With this, he raises enough money and buys a house. The house which he bought is haunted. Hero fights with the ghost. It’s a horror comedy genre. The film will leave audience in peals of laughter from starting till the end. Comedy has been given great importance in the film.”

About the director Jayram Kumar, he said, “I know director Jayram Kumar from my childhood. When I listened to the script, I felt it very fresh. My family members were also very much impressed by the script. Director has carved out the film more wonderfully than how he narrated. I am sure the film will impress everyone.”

About his future projects, Homanand said, “Discussions are going on for Sukumar and Maruti production.Apart from that, I have a film with Raja Vannemreddy. My father is looking after those works. Upendra is my favourite hero.”

Mr Homanand is being made under Om Theertham Filmmakers banner. Jayram Kumar is the director.
