Speaking on the occasion, director Venky Atluri said that he doesn't consciously confine himself to do only love stories. However, it turned out that all his three films so far have been rom-coms. The director made a mention of Nithin’s comedy timing, adding that his character will be seen bullying Keerthy Suresh in the iflm. On her part, she manages to avenge it.

Venky said that he was skeptical about ‘Bus Stande.. Bus Stande..’, one of the playful songs from 'Rang De'. However, he bought into Devi Sri Prasad's confidence and went ahead.

On his part, DSP said that the film has got romance, comedy, entertainment, sentiment and other elements. "Director Venky has crafted the film extremely well, so thank you director Venky for giving me to work in a romantic entertainer like ‘Rang De'," he added. The star composer said that Nithiin has pumped energy levels in the film.

"This is a family entertainer and will be liked by everyone. This is my third film with Sithara Entertainments. ‘A Aa’ and ‘Bheeshma’ were huge hits and I hope to score a hat-trick with producer S Naga Vamsi garu," Nithin added.

The 'Check' actor described Keerthy Suresh as a terrific actor.

Keerthy said that she is eagerly looking forward to scoring hat-trick hits with music composer Devi Sri Prasad. She described the male lead as one of the best co-stars. She quipped that she is not the film's villain. Rather, it is Nithiin who is the villain as per the story.
