Sreenivas Bellamkonda’ 'Chatrapathi': Release date made official

When it was least expected, the release date of the Hindi remake of 'Chatrapathi' was made official today. Launched more than two years ago, the action was in the making for a long time. Finally, it is going to be released in theatres on May 12.

Helmed by VV Vinayak and written by Vijayendra Prasad, the film's first look was released today marking the stupendous announcement. We are in for a physically transformed Sreenivas in the action drama.

The makers are confident that Bellamkonda's Hindi remake will be dashing. "'Khoonkhar', the Hindi dubbed movie of 'Jaya Janaki Nayaka', has so far clocked a record-setting 700 million views," the makers reminded, suggesting that the hero's popularity in the Hindi market will translate into box-office figures.

Producer Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios has sold the movie to distributors Dhaval Jayantilal Gada and Aksshay Jayantilal Gada. Co-starring Sahil Vaid, Amit Nair, Rajendra Gupta, Shivam Patil, Swapnil, Ashish Singh, Mohammad Monajir, Auroshika Dey, and Vedika, the film's casting is predominantly from North India. Anl Arusu and Tanishk Bagchi are its action director and music director, respectively.
