That's why Trivikram wrote that scene in my movie: Pawan Kalyan

Pawan Kalyan on Thursday addressed his party's cadres in Pithapuram. On the occasion, he said that Trivikram is the one person who thinks for him while he is engrossed in thinking for society.

Interestingly, the 'OG' actor recalled an anecdote from the early days of his friendship with Trivikram. "As a youngser, I was so enraged with the state of affairs that I wanted to join some movement. Trivikram noticed this fire in me. He wrote that interval scene in 'Jalsa' where my character expresses dejection (over poverty, etc). Trivikram hoped that I wouldn't enter politics now that my anger had found an outlet in 'Jalsa'. It is another matter that I persisted and eventually entered politics," Pawan said.

The interval scene in 'Jalsa' would have been a highlight had the second half been focused. Instead, the film ended up bein a meandering mess. As a result, the audience could hardly establish a connect with the scene.
