Sai Kiran on his entry into Films

Anaganaga Aakasam Vundi, Aakasam lo Megham Vundi…. The person that you get reminded on listening to this song is none other than Sai Kiran. The smart boy who entered the cine field with this admirable character in coming as hero in some movies. The sight of him in the movies gives you a feeling that he is diffident. But in real life when you encounter him and start the conversation, he gives you a different picture of him. We found him so gregarious when we went to interview him and the incessant flow of things that he shared with us left us bewildered. Let's explore it!

First chance in Nuvve Kaavali...
From the time I desired to become a hero, I started giving my photographs to all the persons whom I know in the film industry. I embraced the role of the Lord Vishnu in the ETV serial Siva Leelalu. On seeing that serial, Mr.Vijaya Bhaskar (Nuvve Kaavali Director) told me to meet him once. He made me to deliver the dialogues and explained my character in the film.

The joke came true...
In the beginning, when I didn't get any chance in the movies, we used to crack jokes that I'll act first in Usha Kiran Movies, later in Suresh Productions and so on and so on! After I got a chance in Usha Kiran Movies, later I acted in Preminchu. In that way, what all we found as jokes came to be true.

Couldn't give much hit than Nuvve Kaavali...
If Nuvve Kaavali wasn't my first movie, I don't think I would have had this much life as hero. But my movies after Nuvve Kaavali didn't give me that much hit. Preminchu movie brought good name to me after that.

Acting, I didn't learn it particularly...
To act in the movies, I didn't learn any acting specially. From my childhood, I used to learn dance and martial arts.

The hero who inspired me means...
I like NTR, the discipline and the care that he takes in case of acting is not everybody's possession. In my childhood, I used to like to see his shootings more. Even I like Rajanikanth.

I played a different role in the picture Manasunte Chaalu...
Till now I acted in around 8 movies. In almost all the pictures, I played diffident roles that are reserved and shy to speak. But in the Usha Kiran Movies, Manasunte Chaalu, I played a different character. The character of a villager, who is very open and who comments without any regard for other feelings.

If I have to play a negative role...
I'll definitely do it, but it must be hero oriented. Just like Ajit's role in Vaali, Sharukh's role in Baazigar. If they are so, I'll do them even if they are negative roles.

The characters I dream to do...
The negative roles, which I spoke of just now mixed with terrific comedy, I want to do one such movie. That character should entertain everybody and should make them to burst into laughter.

My family members...
After seeing my movies, my family members point out the negative points in my acting than the positive points. Then I would take care to see that those mistakes wouldn't get repeated.

The director whom I like is...
Mr.Jonnalagadda Srinu (Manasunte Chaalu Director). I could learn many things while working with him. He really has lot of patience.

Heroine's Performance...
The performance of Richa and Laya is good. Richa is from Mumbai and even though she doesn't know the language, She delivered the dialogues very well. She could get good name in the first movie itself.

My sister is my best friend...
I like people more with common interest. I like playing videogames, spending on computer, rearing birds and animals. I like the people who like my interests. My sister is my close friend.

My Birthday...
May 8th, 1978.
