'30 Rojullo Preminchdam Ela', starring Pradeep Machiraju and Amritha Aiyer, will release in theatres on January 29. In this special interview, producer SV Babu talks about the film, what it means to release the film on a special day, the performances by the lead cast and more.

'Neeli Neeli Aakasam' from the movie has been a blockbuster song in the Telugu States. Many have even asked me to release the film in Kannada because it has been a big hit everywhere. I regularly produce movies in Kannada. When we released the song, we expected some 5 million views for it. It has now crossed 278 million views. Two other songs from our movie have crossed 20 and 10 million views. This is my 18th film as a producer.

No matter how much you talk about Pradeep, it doesn't suffice. He is a passionate actor. His performance will be a big plus for our movie. There is sentiment and comedy, too, besides romance. And Pradeep has pulled off all shades very well.

We didn't release the film on OTT because we are very confident. Since it's a feature film debut for Pradeep, we wanted to release it only in theatres. OTT was never an option.

We had enough time during lockdown to make necessary changes to fine-tune the end product. Allu Aravind garu and Bunny Vasu garu have watched the movie. They decided to release it because they loved it. As far as business is concerned, '30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela' has done nice. The ball is now in the audience's court.

The title may raise doubts but if you watch the film, you will understand the depth. Every artist has done complete justice to their respective parts. As a producer, I did everything I could do. We haven't compromised on quality anywhere.

Although I have been in multiple businesses, I have consistently produced movies for the past 15 years. It's purely out of passion. Of the many movies I have produced, four of them achieved breakeven figures. The others fetched profits for me. 'Josh', my Kannada film, had a windfall of awards.

During the making of 'Captain Nagarjuna', Nagarjuna garu's team was shooting at Araku. They were looking for vehicles for moving to and fro. Nagarjuna garu wanted a special car. I had readied my car with AC for personal use. When I came to know that he will be using the vehicle for conveyance, I told the team that I myself will turn into a driver!

As a producer, I have learned that making a film is just 25% of the part. Releasing it is the rest.

On January 29, '30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela' will hopefully come out in a very good number of theatres. I was excited when I listened to the script, but was even more excited on watching the end product. The performances and songs will be major highlights.

Telugu and Tamil audiences love cinema a lot. That's why movies are coming out in the languages soon after the re-opening of theatres. That's not the case in Kannada.

I personally know 'KGF' actor Yash. I have previously done movies with his wife Radhika Pandit as well in the past. I am proud that he has become a pan-India star.
