Naveen Chandra's 'Repeat', a crime thriller, is streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. In this interview, the 'Ammu' and 'Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga' actor talks about the movie. He also says that he is doing RC15 and Nandamuri Balakrishna's upcoming Sankranthi release.

'Repeat' has been borrowed from the Tamil movie 'Deja Vu'. Ever since the thriller started streaming on OTT last night, people have been putting out exciting screenshots on social media. It goes to show that the viewers have been thrilled by the proceedings from start to end.

The thriller is based on some true incidents. Right from the start, it is a new-age one. I play an undercover cop named Vikram in the movie. I was asked to underplay the character and be subtle. I had to shoot for this moody thriller at a stretch. For movies of this kind, it is better if the actor shoots without breaks. That's why I shot day in and day out for 'Repeat'.

I have always been a fan of Madhubala garu. It's a pleasure that I have got to act with her. She is seen as a DGP. Despite being a senior actor, she would always address me respectfully. After she came to know that I was shooting nights, she too shot for a couple of nights. In the early days of her career, she worked even during night. Once again, for 'Repeat', she has done it.

The film has been completed on a tight budget, thanks to the planning and execution done by the director. Satyam Rajesh has got a good role, among others.

After the two 'Parampara' series, 'Repeat' is my latest Hotstar project. I am glad that Hotstar's viewers have been familiarized with me.

Besides RC15 with Ram Charan and Shankar, I am also a part of 'Veera Simha Reddy'.
