Comedian and mimicry artist Siva Reddy celebrated his birthday function at Tabla Hotel on 17th May. His friends from industry, Ali, AVS, Dr Bramhanandam, SV Krishna Reddy, VN Aditya, Tirupathi Prakash, Shilpa Chakravarthi and Apoorva also attended the function and showered him with their heartiest wishes.
Speaking at the function, Ali said, “Siva Reddy has lots of talents hidden in him. Yadhi Reddy garu introduced him in a film called ‘Pittala Dora’. Using that as an opportunity and by his hard work added with his ability, he has come up a long way to reach the stage he is now at.”
“It’s not an easy task for a mimicry artist to establish himself as a comedian. We both are sailing in the same boat. I too was a mimicry artist before Jandhyala garu introduced me to the movie world. I whole heartedly wish Siva Reddy a very bright future. He is capable of reaching different heights as an actor,” expressed Dr.Bramhanandam.
Birthday boy Siva Reddy said, “I’ve done more than 2000 mimicry shows around the world. But of all, the most I enjoyed and earned a good name was the one where I imitated all the big stars in Vajrothsavaalu programme. I would also like to rate the one which I did in Nandi Awards Function where I imitated our Chief Minister YSR and MSR. My humble, little contribution to mimicry and comedy fetched me a title from our Chiranjeevi garu as ‘Funstar’. When it comes to movies, recently, I played brother to Charmi in Suresh Productions and have acted in many movies as comedian and character artist. I am a small actor and should not feel proud in mentioning that I contribute 25% of my earnings for charity. One of them is educating three poor children as long as they desire to study.”
