Ali Reza and Akshara starrer ‘Gaayakudu’ is all set to hit screens on February 20. This musical love story is produced by Jammalamadugu Ravindranath under Dheeru Films banner with Lakshmi as presenter. Kamal G has got the chance to direct this film, while Koti’s son Roshan Saloori made his debut as music director. Ali Reza, who is well known to the Telugu audience with the TV serial ‘Pasupu Kumkuma’, made his debut as hero through this film. The film is touted to be a romantic entertainer and the actor is playing the role of a singer.
Briefing about the film details, producer Jammalamadugu Ravindranath said, “Koti’s son Roshan Saloori made his debut as music director through this film. He has provided excellent music. I got satisfied with the good outcome of the film. I’m pretty happy with the experienced technicians I got. Though this is my first film as producer, I’m in the film industry since one and half decade.”
Guru Charan said, “I played villain role in the film. The makers are impressed with my acting skills in a TV serial ‘Agni Poolu’ and have roped me to play the villain role. My favorite song ‘Ye Vaipu Nadavalo…’ is a painful song in the film.”
Speaking on the occasion, Roshan Saloori said, “‘Gaayakudu’ is my first film as music composer. I’m thankful to the producers for giving me this opportunity. Audio of this film was released by a legendry music director Rahaman. It was a star studded affair. I’ve started my career with the blessings of all music directors in our film industry. Audio has got good response.”
Hero said, “Roshan’s music is very impressive. ‘Gaayakudu’ is a feel good entertainer. The film has won appreciations from the censor board members and received clean ‘U’ certificate. The film will be released on February 20.”
Speaking on the occasion, director Kamal said, “I’m thankful to the producer for encouraging me to do a film. Ali Reza is perfectly apt to the story. Hence we have chosen him to play the hero role. I’m pretty happy with the team I got. ’Gaayakudu’ is a youthful love story. The already released audio through Aditya Music is receiving good response. Renowned music director Koti’s son Roshan Saloori was introduced as music director through this film. He has provided 8 songs with wonderful tunes. I’m confident that the film will become big hit.”
