Saleem Audio Release

The grand audio launching ceremony of YVS Chowdary’s ‘Saleem’ took place on Wednesday, the 11th November at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad. Featuring Manchu Vishnuvardhan Babu and Ileana as lead pair, the film has been produced by Dr Mohan Babu under Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures banner partnering with Reliance Big Pictures.

The function was a big success with the presence of Tollywood’s bigwigs like K Raghavendra Rao, Dr Dasari Narayana Rao, Dr Mohan Babu, SS Rajamouli, VV Vinayak, Dr Brahmanandam, Dr Jayasudha, Nandamuri Kalyanram, Ileana, Vishnu and his wife Veronica, his mother Nirmala, brother Manoj, sister Lakshmi Prasanna, Chandra Bose, Devineni Nehru, Dr Varaprasad, Ramesh Prasad, Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, Mandali Buddaprasad, Yadava Reddy and many more. Young stars like Nitin and Mamta Mohandas too were part of the function.

The audio CDs were released by Dr Dasari Narayana Rao and the first copy of it was received by K Raghavendra Rao. Later each song was released by each guest.

While the sound tracks were released by Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, Jayasudha, Madali Buddhaprasad, Devineni Nehru, Dr Varaprasad and Yadava Reddy, the first copy of each sound track was received by Kalyan Ram, Nitin, Vishnu, SS Rajamouli, VV Vinayak and Lakshmi Prasanna.

Addressing the gathering Dr Mohan Babu said, “We made ‘Saleem’ with a budget of 23 crores. YVS Chowdary has portrayed Vishnu completely different from his earlier films. Although the budget has exceeded its limit the entire team has put in its efforts for the film’s output. Likewise the film also has been shaped up well. I’m very happy about that.”

Dr Dasari Narayana Rao said, “It is a rare phenomenon to see a hero producing more than 50 films. Mohan Babu started this banner in order to promote himself and thereby made many great films like ‘Pedharayudu’, Major Chandrakanth’, etc. Vishnu has dedication as well as hardwork and that urged him to become a hero. I am confident about this film’s success.”

YVS Chowdary while speaking, “Saleem is an excellent romantic flick with unique concept. Sandeep Chowta’s tunes for Chandra Bose lyrics are biggest assets to the film. Sony Company purchased the audio rights for a handsome price.”

Vishnuvardhan Babu said, “Initially I was a little hesitant to act with my father because it is a fact that he would definitely stand tall in performance. But YVS Chowdary promised me that he would design my role in such a way that both characters will be at par with each other. The film got delayed due to various reasons. I have seen the rushes recently and completely satisfied. Sandeep Chowta’s musical scores are fresh to ears. It will become the best audio album for the year 2009. Although we planned to launch the audio at Vijayawada, it did not materialize. Therefore we decided to celebrate the 100 days function of this film at Vijayawada only.”
