Golimaar Press Meet

Puri Jagannath’s latest flick ‘Golimaar’ starring Gopichand and Priyamani in lead roles being produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under Sri Saiganesh Productions banner is releasing on May 27th. On this occasion a press meet was organized at Puri Jagannath’s office in Hyderabad on Monday. Puri Jagannath, Bellamkonda Suresh, Gopichand, Priyamani, Roja, Chakri and Bhaskara Bhatla participated in the press meet.

Puri Jagannath said, “I prepared this script with the inspiration of encounter specialist Daya Nayak. I’m very happy with the ouput and with the performance of the lead pair. I’ve already told VV Vinayak to do a film with Gopichand after watching ‘Golimaar’. Since comedy is part of the story there is no separate comedy track. I missed my chance of directing heroines like Ramya Krishna and Roja. But I got the opportunity to work with Roja in this film. Many have sent mails to me appreciating the audio of this film. This is a full fledged action entertainer and I am hoping for best results.”

Bellamkonda Suresh said, “We are releasing ‘Golimaar’ on May 27th. Gopichand’s performance is the highlight of this film. The audio also became a big hit, especially the song that criticizes the nature of a man is attracting every one. Priyamani gave very good expressions in that song. I am very confident that this film will bring very good collections and name for our banner.”

“The censor board gave positive reports on ‘Golimaar’. I was very comfortable to work with Puri Jagannath. After watching the film women will start to compare themselves with Roja’s character. Priyamani also gave an excellent performance. I hope ‘Golimaar’ will become a big hit”, opined Gopichand.

Priyamani while speaking, “This is my second film under Bellamkonda Suresh’s banner. I’m a great fan of Puri sir. It was a great experience to work with him. The entire shooting was like a picnic. I’m also happy to have worked with a senior actress like Roja.”

“After giving a long break I re-entered the film industry through a small role in ‘Shambo Shiva Shambo’. But in ‘Golimaar’ I’m doing a full fledged role and I have a punch dialogues too. I will be seen as the mother of Priyamani in this film. This character of mine will be liked by all women. Regarding the audio, I liked the song that criticizes men’s nature”, says Roja.

“Each song is different from other in this film. The songs on Police and Men are becoming popular among the public. I’m a great fan of Roja. Therefore I am very happy that I finally got opportunity to work for a film in which she acted”, expressed Chakri.

Bhaskara Bhatla said, “This is my 14th film in Puri Jagannath’s combination and for the first time I got the opportunity to pen lyrics for all the songs. The song ‘Magallu Otti Mayagaallu’ is getting very good response. I’m pretty confident about the success of this film.”
