Vastadu Naa Raju Audio Release
The audio launch of Manchu Vishnu’s ‘Vastadu Naa Raju’ was held at Layola College in Vijayawada on December 10th, 2010. K Raghavendra Rao, Dr Mohan Babu, Budha Prasad, Devineni Nehru, Lagadapati Rajagopal, Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, Dr Brahmanandam, Sreenu Vaitla, Hemanth Madhukar, Kona Venkat, Manchu Vishnu, Tapsee Pannu, Ghazal Srinivas, Avinash, Ramajogayya Sastry, Bhaskara Bhatla, Mallika Begum, Bomda Uma and others witnessed the grand event. Mohan Babu released the audio CDs and presented its first copy to K Raghavendra Rao.
Later speaking on the dais Mohan Babu said, “I started my film career in Vijayawada in the year 1975 through Dasari Narayana Rao’s ‘Swargham Narakam’. Hence I always have a special liking for this place. My best wishes to Vishnu and his team. I thank Tapsee, director Hemanth Madhukar, script writers, music director and all the technicians who have worked for this film.”
Devineni Nehru who claimed himself as Mohan Babu’s best friend said that Mohan Babu organized the audio launching function on his request and hence thanked him for doing so. In his words, “I know only 2 persons in film industry-NTR and Mohan Babu. My best wishes to Vishnu, very happy to see him here in Vijayawada.”
Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad appreciated Vishnu for being the multifaceted personality- as an actor, as a businessman and as a sportsperson. Offering his best wishes to Vishnu, he wished for the success of ‘Vastadu Naa Raju’ film.”
Lagadapati Rajagopal said, “I saw all the movies of the collection king. Mohan Babu is the Rayalaseema Ramanna Chowdary. He is the dialogue king and I wish his son would turn out to be the king of Telugu film industry. Vishnu’s stunt is exceptional and everyone here enjoyed watching his stunt.”
Tapsee while speaking, “Thank you Vijayawada. I never ever thought that one day I would face such a large crowd. On this occasion I would like to thank Mohan Babu garu and K Raghavendra Rao garu who was my 1st director. I thank Mohan Babu garu for having confidence in me and giving me yet another opportunity after ‘Jhummandi Naadam’. Mani Sharma scored outstanding music. I thank my cameraman S Gopal Reddy for his beautiful work and I also thank Lakshmi Manchu who supported me right from the beginning. I enjoyed working with Vishnu and my director Hemanth Madhukar as well.”
“I loved my role and there are rib tickling comedy scenes in this film. This apart, music is extraordinary. I wish Vishnu a grand success through VNR”, said Brahmanandam.
Director Hemanth Madhukar, who was excited to see the huge crowd in Vijayawada expressed his happiness and said, “Vishnu is playing a sportman in ‘Vastadu Naa Raju’ and hence his looks are different. Tapsee performed very well. Music is superb, comedy is great and cinematography is excellent.”
