Dil Kabaddi Muhurat

Uday Kiran’s new movie ‘Dil Kabaddi’ was launched today (June 27, 2011) at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. V Sivakumar is producing this film under Anjaneya Swamy Productions banner introducing Sri as director and a new face Jasmine as heroine. State Home Minister Smt Sabita Indra Reddy graced the occasion and switched on the camera. Nandamuri Mohankrishna tapped the clap board and Murali Mohan directed the first shot.

Later at press meet Uday Kiran said, “We have launched this film with new spirit and confidence. This movie is on the bacldrop of a beautiful kabaddi game on love. We are trying to portray love in a new angle. Music plays vital role in this film. The audience will feel fresh when they watch this film because it is different from my earlier films. We worked 2 ½ months on this script. The regular shooting will begin in July 1st week. We are planning to shoot two songs abroad. Samudra’s student, Sri, is going to be introduced as director through this film.”

Director Sri said, “I worked under Samudra garu in the past. When I narrated this story to Uday Kiran he instantly gave his nod and so as the producer. I thank State Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy for accepting our invitation and blessing us. I also thank other guests who attended this launching event.”

Music director Sunil Kashyap said, “I’m very happy to do Uday Kiran’s film. There are altogether six songs which belong to different genres. I thank my director and producer for giving me this opportunity.”

Siva Kumar said, “Uday Kiran is a very close friend of mine. The director narrated a good story. I believe that the industry will support me and I also hope that this film will be a grand success.”
