Sanjana Choudhary awaits the release of Shakalaka Shankar's out-and-out romantic horror-comedy 'Bomma Adirindi-Dimma Thirigindi', directed by debutant Kumar Kota. The film will release in theatres on January 1. In this interview, the actress talks about the movie, what makes it unique and more.

With the story and dialogues by Eluru Sreenu, the film also stars Priya, Arjun Kalyan, Raju Swaroop and Swathi. Avantika, Heena, Ritika Chakravarthy are part of the cast. Music is by PR.

Excerpts:

I hail from Bihar. I studied in Hyderabad. I have done Masters in Journalism. After my college days, I participated in a beauty pageant out of interest in acting. I then stepped into modelling before becoming an actress.

Before this movie, I did 'Newly Married', a web film, which released on Shreyas ET. 'Bomma Adirindi' is my second film as a female lead.

I have played the role of a housewife in the movie. Newly-married couples get into a bungalow on the outskirts to have a vacation. But they fail to come out of the house because of lockdown. What strange incidents do they face in the house? How do they beat them? That's what the film is about.

This is a horror-comedy. Besides Shakalaka Shankar's comedy, the audience will surely enjoy the thrilling moments.

Since the story unfolds in a bungalow, we all shot for the movie in a house set. The characters are quite entertaining and engaging. The shooting was a breeze and we all became good friends by the time the shoot was over.

I am currently doing a suspenseful comedy titled 'Katha Modalaindi'. As an actress, I want to do roles that give me an opportunity to showcase my talent. I keep trying to improve myself as an actor. Mahesh Babu is my favourite.
