Lepakshi Handicrafts & Handloom Exhibition cum Sale at Indira Park
The Lepakshi Export Oriented Showroom, Hyderabad, a unit of State Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd. (Government undertaking) is organizing Handicrafts & Handlooms Exhibition cum Sales from 06-03-2015 to 15-03-2015. In this exhibition nearly 150 craft persons from all over the India are participating and displaying their products.
Lepakshi Craft Bazaar is one such promotional programme to help the craft persons to increase the sales of their products and to improve their living conditions. Craft persons/Weavers/Manufacturers of artistic handicrafts and textiles from different parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will exhibit and sell their products in this exhibition.
World famous Hyderbadi Pearls, Soft wood toys and Dolls from Kondapalli, Etikoppaka and Nirmal Village, Carved wooden wall panels and woodcarvings from Tirupathi, Hand Paintings of Sri Kalahasthi, Cherial and Nirmal Paintings, Crochet Lace work of Narsapur, Cotton Durries and Brass Artware of Warangal, Leather Puppets and Lamp shades of Nimmala Kunta, Artificial Jewellery, Metal Castings and Bidriware from Hyderabad are some prominent crafts on display in this Exhibition. Apart from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the Craftpersons from other States are also participating in this Event.
Traditional Silk and Cotton Sarees and Dress materials, suit sets & sarees from Gadwal, Pochampally(Ikat), Uppada, Narayanpet, Mangalagiri, Venkatagiri and Kalamkari Block Printings of Machilipatnam,Bagalpur,Benarace,Chandari,BangaliCotton,in Other States, are the exclusive range in this Event.
The Exhibition is open to public from 11:00AM to 9:00 PM daily and on all public holidays from 06.03.2015 to 15.03.2015. will be inaugurated by Smt. Shailaja Ramaiyer, I.A.S., Managing Director APHDC Ltd. on 06.03.2015 at 4.00:00 PM.
