Reevax Pharma Pvt Ltd Donating A Autonomous Robot UVRova BR to Gandhi Hospital

 Hyderabad, July 11th, 2020: Reevax Pharma Private Limited, a Hyderabad based company today announced that it has dedicated its unique bacteria and viruses disinfecting autonomous robot UVRova BR, to Gandhi Hospital, a key hospital for treating COVID-19 affected patients in the state. Autonomous robot UVROVA BR will be deployed inside the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and disinfect the recently vacated beds and the immediate area surrounding it before and just before the occupation of a new patient on a bed. This one-of-its-kind autonomous robot that rapidly disinfects the areas and surfaces including ICU beds within 5 minutes.

Mr. Mohan Tayel, (Chairman). Mr. Jagannath Y, (Director) and Mr. G Pranay Reddy, (CMO), Reevax Pharma Private Limited, have handed over a brand-new autonomous disinfection robot to Mr. KT Rama Rao, Hon’ble Minister for Industries and IT, Government of Telangana at the secretariat.

UVRova BR is an autonomous robot, that is very easy to operate and requires only pressing a single button to operate. UVRova BR will be installed in the ICU of Gandhi Hospital shortly. UVRova BR robot can also be used to rapidly disinfect areas like floors, operating tables, treatment rooms, ICU rooms and beds, clothing, PPE, masks and waiting areas within minutes. Operated using electricity, the autonomous UVRova BR robot does not require any external consumables such as chemicals, gases, fumes, vapours, sound, corrosion, or residues, and therefore, it is fully safe and secure.

While accepting the UVRova BR robot from Reevax Pharma Mr. KT Rama Rao, Hon’ble Minister for Industries and IT, Government of Telangana, said, “We appreciate Reevax Pharma Private Limited for dedicating this essential and effective disinfecting robot to one of the government hospitals in Hyderabad. The administration is grateful for any assistance from citizens and corporates and we thank the management of Reevax Pharma for their timely and relevant contribution to society at this time of difficulty”.

Speaking on this occasion Mr. Mohan Tayel, Chairman, Reevax Pharma Private Limited, said, “We are privileged to dedicate this much-needed equipment to Gandhi Hospital as it can help to bring down the incidences of further spread of the virus by keeping the environment virus free. This is just a token of our gratitude towards the society which is now passing through a difficult time due to the pandemic outbreak.”

Also speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jagan Y, CEO, Reevax Pharma, said, “UVRova robots will ease the process of disinfecting the areas while reducing human intervention as well as hospital acquired infections significantly. Mr. G Pranay Reddy, CMO added that the robots manufactured by Reevax Pharma, UVRova BR, and UVRova ST, are versatile and effective with power wattage of 1,700 Watts and a very high UV dose output of 640 Watts. These robots are versatile and can be deployed not only in hospitals and clinics but along in a variety of places like banks, offices, business facilities, hotel rooms, restaurants, lounges, etc. Our robots have the UV dose capability to deactivate several viruses and bacteria including COVID-19. Other viruses that are deactivated include Poliovirus, Adenovirus, Norovirus, Syncytial Virus, RhinoVirus, Rota Virus, Herpes Virus, H1N1, Hepatitis A, and Hepatitis C, etc. It is also proven that the UVRova robots can disinfect 99.99% of pathogens within 5-6 minutes of exposure, as per the various internal and external assessments.

As part of the CSR initiative, Reevax Pharma has delivered autonomous robot UVRova BR to Gandhi Hospital for free of cost. However, this unique, first in the world ICU bed robot is currently made available in Hyderabad for about INR 12 lacs per unit.
