Chiru’s fans and his family members are overwhelmed with joy after he announced that he would do his 150th film yesterday in the premiere show of Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap’. In this regard, Nagababu along with Chiranjeevi’s fans organized a press meet at Geeta Arts production office to convey thanks to his brother. This press meet was attended by Nagababu, Chinnikrishna, Swamy Naidu, Ramu Yadav and Katama Shetty Nagendra.

Nagababu said, “Chiranjeevi’s statement that he is quitting films has generated shock and sadness among his fans. The news has shocked me and Ram Charan as well because we were so confident that annayya would do his 150th film. And with the same confidence Ram Charan also announced that he would produce his dad’s 150th film. After hearing to my brother announcement, fans assembled in front of his house. But I convinced them saying that I would speak to annayya and let them know about it. When I questioned annayya what made him decide on quitting the films, he replied saying that it is difficult to think about films due to political pressure. But then he agreed to do the film on Amitabh Bachchan’s request at the ‘Bbuddah’ premiere show yesterday. So on this occasion I wanted to thank my brother on behalf of his fans.”

Chinni Krishna said, “There is lot of expectations on Chiranjeevi’s 150th film. I’m also going to work for this film which will be produced by Ram Charan. Besides me, many have written the scripts for him. We will let you know the details after Chiranjeevi selects one of the scripts.”

President of Chiranjeevi Seva Samithi, Katamashetty Nagendra said, “We are very happy that Chiranjeevi has reconsidered to do his 150th film. On this occasion we thank superstar Amitabh Bachchan for convincing him to do the film. The name Chiranjeevi is our soul, life and breath. We also thank Nagababu garu for trying his best to convince him to do the film. Chiranjeevi returned to films only because he is not happy with politics.”
