The release of Dhanush’s youthful entertainer ‘Anekudu’ has been postponed due to some unknown reasons. The film’s release was supposed to take place on February 20, however, the makers have confirmed that the film will be released on February 27. ‘Anekudu’ is the Telugu dubbed version of Tamil romantic thriller ‘Anegan’ directed by ‘Rangam’ fame KV Anand and it is being brought to the Telugu audience as ‘Anekudu’ by Kalpathi S Aghoram on AGS Entertainments banner. Meanwhile, the Tamil version ‘Anegan’ which was released on February 13, is receiving positive reviews from critics and audience.
Amyra Dastur is playing the female lead role opposite Dhanush. The film also stars Aishwarya Devan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Atul Kulkarni, Mukesh Tiwari and Thalaivasal Vijay in important roles.
