Trisha’s ‘Nayaki’ getting ready

‘Nayaki’ that features Trisha in the title role, has completed the shooting part and post-production works are nearing completion. It is being made in Telugu and Tamil languages. The film that also features Ganesh Venkatraman, Satyam Rajesh and Sushma Raj in key roles, is being presented by Raj Kandukuri, while Giridhar Mamidipalli and Padmaja Mamidipalli are producing the film under Giridhar Production house with Govi Govardhan as director.

Updating the film’s progress, producers said, “Recently release audio has got tremendous response. Especially, the song ‘Midnight Sudden Ga Ekkado Dooranga…’ sung by Trisha, has got more than one lakh hits and it went viral on the internet. Sai Karthik has given great background score for this film after ‘Raju Gari Gadhi’. On the other hand, ‘Nayaki’ Tamil rights were bagged by Pandal banner for whopping price. Generally, Tamil horror films will have good craze in Telugu industry. Interesting thing is that, ‘Nayaki’ which is made here has got good craze in Tamil. It is doing good business in Telugu as well. 40 min graphics will stand out as special attraction to the film. We are making preparations to send the film soon for censor process and planning to release the film simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages by the end of May or in the first week of June.”

“This is totally different film from all regular horror films. Trisha has given wonderful performance. Her role has different shades. I am extremely confident that ‘Nayaki’ will stand out as a good film for Trisha and for all of us,” said director Govi.

Brahmanandam, Jaya Prakash, Manobala, Kovai Sarala, Madhavi Latha, Sentrayan, Jeevi, Adurs Raghu, Shakalaka Shankar and Chammak Chandra are playing important roles in the film.
