'Gatham' to be screened at IFFI

‘Gatham’, the thriller which released recently on Amazon Prime, has become the only Telugu film to make it to IFFI this year. Shot in the USA, the film was critically-acclaimed when it released on OTT.

The makers have expressed joy over their product getting selected for a screening at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI). "This is the only Telugu movie to get selected for this film festival and it happened under the Indian Panorama category," they said. The festival will be held from January 16th to 21, 2021. As many as 26 feature films and 21 non-feature films will be screened from across the world.

Helmed by Kiran Reddy Kondamadugula, the thriller was produced by Bhargava Poludasu, Srujan Yarabolu and Harsha Pratap. It starred Bhargava Poludasu, Rakesh Galebhe and Poojitha Kuraparthi.

Last year, 'F2' was screened. In 2018, it was 'Mahanati'. In 2017, it was 'Bahubali: The Conclusion'. In 2016, it was 'Bahubali: The Beginning'.
