I am not worried about not having a background: Arun Adith

Arun Adith awaits the release of 'Dear Megha' on September 3. It's one of the most important releases for the actor. As someone who has no film background, the actor has his task cut out.

"I don't have a brand. I don't have a famous family name. I am only an actor. I am ready to play a beggar if the need be. I can also play a President," he says, giving a glimpse into his philosophy as an actor. This Friday, he hopes to secure a hit with 'Dear Megha', the September 3rd release. "While 'PSV Garuda Vega' made money, its success didn't belong to me and rightly so. '24 Kisses' did well digitally but not in theatres. I have worked with many acclaimed directors over the past 10 years. 'Dear Megha' is special to me. Luckily no big movies are there at the box office to compete with us this week," Arun Adith says.

The young actor has an interesting lineup of movies. "'WWW' is the first Telugu-language computer screen movie. Directed by KV Guhan, it's a completely experimental movie. 'Katha Kanchiki Manam Intiki' belongs to a new genre for me. It's a highly commercial role for me. I have also done a film under the production of an actress," he reveals.

How has Arun Adith evolved over the years in terms of his thinking? "There was a time when I dreamt of playing a Baahubali. Of late, I just want to do justice to whatever I get. My thinking has changed a lot during the pandemic," he says with honesty.

Arun Adith is also one of the few actors with no film background. "Having no background is definitely a minus. Even finding a suitable release date can be difficult. That said, I am happy to have talent rather than having a background but no talent," he says.
