'FCUK', starring Jagapathi Babu and directed by Vidyasagar Raju, will release in theatres on February 12. Featuring also Ram Karthik and Ammu Abhimrami, the comedy film's teaser was out recently.
At an event held on Monday, the makers announced its release date. They began the event by paying respects to V Doraswamy Raju, the late producer-distributor who breathed his last earlier in the day.
Later, addressing the media, producer KL Damodar Prasad said that the success of the Sankranthi movies has boosted the confidence of the film industry. He said that the title of his movie, 'FCUK', has been misunderstood by some. “As a producer, I have always made movies with certain values," he added, allaying misconceptions around 'FCUK'.
Jagapathi Babu said that the film has been tastefully done. "The teaser itself is so convincing that many were asking if it was my actual story," the actor quipped. The director of the film is confident that its content will have the audience in splits.
Ali, Daggubati Raja, Kalyani Natarajan, Brahmaji, Krishna Bhagavaan, Rajitha, Jabardast Ram Prasad and others are part of the cast.
