'Paka – The River Of Blood' is an upcoming Malayalam movie that is poised to acquire critical acclaim and applause at film festival circuits. Helmed by newcomer Nithin Lukose, the film has been produced by Anurag Kashyap and Raj Rachakonda, who have previously bankrolled the biopic 'Mallesham' in Telugu with Priyadarshi in the eponymous character.

"Nithin Lukose impressed the producers with the story during the making of 'Mallesham', for which he was the sound designer," a source says. So, what is 'Paka' about? Touted to be a tale of bloodshed involving two feuding families and a young couple that tries to overcome this hatred with their love, the film is set in North Kerala's Wayanad.

The cast has given splendid performances. Basil Paulose (Johnny), Vinitha Koshy (Anna), Jose Kizhakkan (Kochappan), Athul John (Paachi), Nithin George (Joey), and Joseph Manickal (Varkey) are its main characters.

With cinematography by Srikanth Kabothu, the film has music by Faizal Ahamed. Edited by Arunima Shankar, it is busy winning accolades.
