'Balamevvadu' will feature Suhasini in a powerful role. The yesteryear heroine, who is very popular in Telugu and Tamil, will be seen in a meaningful role in the vigilante drama, which is about the scam-ridden medical field.
"Many years after playing a powerful cop's role in 'Rakhi', Suhasini is thrilled about her character in 'Balamevvadu'," a source says.
As Dr. Yashoda, she locks horns with the medical mafia in the film. Dhruvan Katakam and Nia are debuting as the lead pair. Directed by Satya Rachakonda, the film's concept poster was out recently.
