Raashi Khanna has been accused of making anti-South film industry comments recently. Gossip mills have had it that she told a Bollywood media channel that, down South, actresses are sexualized and looked down upon as objects/dolls. The 'Prati Roju Pandage' actress today roundly refuted the false quotes attributed to her.
Raashi described the reports as fabricated. "I didn't bad-mouth south films. I request whoever has been doing it to please stop," the actress said, adding that she has utmost respect towards each and every language and film she does.
It's not clear who started the rumour in the first place.
Raashi is going to have two movie releases soon: Gopichand's 'Pakka Commercial' and Naga Chaitanya's 'Thank You'.
